1. Overview

BinBux is a mobile application designed to help users recycle waste scrap by scheduling pickups, viewing live rates, and managing recycling requests. The app facilitates communication between users and our collection partners to promote sustainable recycling.

2. Service Area

BinBux is currently operating in Kovilampakkam, Chennai. Nearby areas such as Medavakkam, Madipakkam, Keelkattalai, and Nanmangalam may be enabled in future phases.

3. User Eligibility

To use BinBux, you must be at least 18 years old or have parental/guardian consent. By using the app, you confirm that all information provided is true and accurate.

4. User Account and Verification

• You must register using your valid mobile number.
• We use OTP verification (via 2Factor service) to authenticate your account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activities under your account.

5. Services Provided

Through BinBux, users can:

• Schedule waste scrap pickups from their location.
• View current scrap prices.
• Upload images of scrap materials for evaluation.
• Receive notifications and service updates via OneSignal.

6. Permissions Required

To function properly, BinBux may request access to:

• Location: To detect pickup addresses and check service availability.
• Camera and Storage: To take and upload scrap photos.
• Notifications: To send updates and alerts.

7. User Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and truthful information during registration and pickup scheduling.
• Ensure that uploaded images do not contain offensive or unrelated content.
• Do not misuse or attempt to manipulate pricing or scheduling systems.

8. Prohibited Activities

Users must not:

• Use BinBux for fraudulent or illegal activities.
• Attempt to access the app's backend systems or APIs without authorization.
• Upload harmful or inappropriate content.

9. Third-Party Services

BinBux integrates with third-party providers for specific functionalities:

• 2Factor.in: For OTP-based user authentication. (Privacy Policy)
• OneSignal: For push notifications. (Privacy Policy)
• Firebase: For authentication, data storage, and analytics. (Privacy Policy)

10. Data Protection

11. Limitation of Liability

BinBux and its team shall not be held liable for any direct or indirect damages resulting from app usage, service delays, or data loss. The app is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
